A: The web site migration service provided by HOSTIGIN is entirely free of charge and consists of transferring all your website files, databases and emails from your current provider to your brand new hosting account with us. We will also edit all the settings needed for your websites to be completely functional on our next–generation cloud hosting platform.Our techs are fully capable of moving any sort of web site. With years of experience in the industry, they are experts in the specificities of our hosting platform, our Control Panel as well as all other popular Control Panels. For them, transferring a custom–made app with numerous custom libraries is as easy as moving a simple WordPress blog.

A: While we can’t give you a precise time interval, because there are plenty of variables, including the physical size of the web files and databases, the location of the present host’s server, the complexity of your site and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will do our best to transfer your site within 48 hours, and in some cases – within 24 hours (if the website content is not very large).

A: We will need the login information for your current hosting provider’s Control Panel as well as the web site’s name (domain name).

A: In order for us to begin the transfer of your web hosting account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to disclose pretty much the same info you have given to your current host. We’ve also got a very strict Privacy Policy, which describes how private information is tackled.

A: While we transfer your website, it will be available both in your web hosting account with us and in your account with your old hosting provider. A: Yup. We support all traditional Linux–based web hosting platforms. We don’t support Windows–based hosting platforms, because we don’t offer Windows web hosting services ourselves.Additionally, we do not support proprietary web site creation and administration user interfaces like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
